Rosé Mansion NYC: Drink Rosé All Day And Look Your Best Doing It

When I first heard about the Rosé Mansion pop-up exhibit in NYC, my first thought was to call one of my rosé loving besties and reserve our tickets for the next day. When it comes to drinking rosé all day we do not fool around so we booked our tickets and were on our way!

unnamed-471.jpg

My first question was, “How many different rosé tastings will there be?!”

To answer that question, we got to try 8 delicious rosés from all around the world! Plus you get to blend your own rosé! What’s cooler than that?! Safe to say, my perfect blend definitely matched my personality. It was light and sweet but also bold and zesty. My unique blend of palatable pink goodness danced on my tongue so beautifully.

Can we just take a look at this Rosé fountain for a minute? This is what a rosé lovers dreams are made of.

unnamed-64

I love all things glitter so these are my type of champagne bottles. They even have angel wings! Am I in heaven??

unnamed-60

My second question was, “What do I wear?!”

Anyone who knows me knows this is probably the most important question before attending any day-to-day activity or event. For those of you who already know about the Rosé Mansion, you know it’s an Insta Queens dream. For those of you just learning about it through my blog post, I am sure you can tell from all of my pictures that each backdrop is completely Insta worthy.

So what did I do in preparation to pick the perfect outfit? I did my research to see what some of the rooms looked like so that I would match most of the backdrops. I know what some of you are thinking…”Only you Christina, you are so high maintenance”. Some may call it high maintenance but I call it dressing to impress. Being a diva is not always a bad thing when you just want to look your best! My fellow fashion lovers I know you understand me. Outfit details and suggestions on what to wear are posted below.

unnamed-45

Fun fact: I actually met a couple other bloggers in this room and they were looking all fierce with their legs sprawled across the bathtub. Meanwhile, here I am and I barely fill up half the tub. The only thing people were calling me was adorable…4’11 probs.

But hey, I was the only person able to lay across the tiny swing!

This was one of my favorite parts of the rosé tasting. You get to try a sweet rosé alongside rosé gummy bears! When you try both together it tastes absolutely delicious. Behind the cart is a scratch and sniff rosé wall, which made for a fun and interactive experience!

unnamed-61

At the end of the tasting, I discovered that this is my new favorite rosé! It is light and fruity with watermelon, strawberry, and raspberry undertones…yum!!

My Outfit Details:

Dress: Aqua Floral Print Strapless Dress (It is on sale now for $61.60 and was originally $88)

Denim Jacket: Express

Glasses: Prada

Crossbody: Navy leather bag from Florence, Italy but it looks just like a Stella McCartney!!

*The pink glasses were a prop they had there so get those obnoxious shades on and work it girl!!

Sundresses are my favorite thing to wear in the summer. However, everyone was wearing something different so you can’t really go wrong with anything! If you want to match the theme, I recommend wearing something with pinks and purples in it. Whether girls were sporting dresses, shorts, or jeans- most were pairing a hot pink top or accessory with their outfit. If you think that’s too much pink then a pop of pink like I am wearing goes a long way! And yes…I matched my lipstick to my dress and the theme. I am wearing Rebel from Mac on my lips, which is a really pretty deep magenta. Here are some cute suggestions I have for you that I found online. If you are planning on going to the Rosé Mansion and are struggling with what to wear then hopefully these cute little finds will help!

Risky Business

I call this outfit risky business because there is a classy business feel to it with a hint of risk! Don’t get me wrong though…this is definitely NOT the outfit to wear to a business meeting or to work (unless you work in a really chill and trendy environment perhaps). This is a great outfit for dinner or cocktails with the girls when you want to look sophisticated but also flirty!

Happy Spring Cleaning!

Happy Spring cleaning everyone! It is time to put away the winter clothes and reorganize your closets! BUT FIRST, before saying goodbye to winter for good, I’d like to share with you one of my favorite winter outfits. After, I will share with you some essentials that get me through the Spring season!

unnamed-15unnamed-16unnamed-14unnamed-13

As you can see, I love a pretty pop of red! I wore this outfit to my birthday dinner with the family.

I got the blouse from Bloomingdales on sale for $82.60. I know it is still a little pricey but it was originally $118. You can shop this Karen Kane Sparkle Trim Bell Sleeve blouse at bloomies right now on sale for $88.50 (25% off).

The white fur coat is my moms so bless her soul for letting me borrow it so I could feel extra chic on my birthday! I am assuming the fur coat was WAY over my budget so shop these white fur coats instead that won’t break your bank account!!

Linza Faux Fur Jacket at Fashionnova for $39.99

Irene Faux Fur Hooded Jacket at Fashionnova for $49.99

(You can definitely get these cheaper at Fashionnova because there are always sales and promo codes you can use).

The Fur Vault Rex Rabbit Fur Bolero at Macy’s on sale right now for $715 plus an extra 20% off with the code: SALE, which brings you to a total of $572!! This is a steal only because the original price is $1,795!!! Obviously this is the most expensive option but is the best option if you are looking for a real fur coat that is somewhat affordable cause real fur is expensive. Always keep a look out for deals like these when trying to buy a special pricey item. Sale ends April 8th!

Jeans: DL 1961 Florence Instasculpt skinny jeans in Neptune for $178 (I got these on sale for $99).

My bag and shoes are my favorite part of this outfit! My Christian Louboutins were a gift from my Aunt for my 21st birthday and I actually cried tears of joy when she gave them to me. They were limited edition at the time so I am not sure if stores still have them, they are a bit of a tricky find!! They are not the most comfortable but beauty is pain, am I right ladies?? I would only recommend wearing these to occasions where most of the time you will be sitting…a nice dinner party perhaps??

I got my Alma Louis Vuitton bag at the flagship store in Paris with my birthday money while I was abroad two years ago. If you plan on buying something Louis Vuitton and you are in Paris, I highly recommend you buy it there because the prices are significantly lower! Just don’t forget the VAT tax!

NOW FOR SOME SPRING ESSENTIALS THAT GET ME THROUGH THE SEASON:

  1. Coffee is a must year round but my skinny iced vanilla lattes with almond milk from Starbucks keep me sane throughout the Spring. If you are trying to be extra healthy, then ask for the sugar free vanilla syrup. I promise you it tastes just as delicious! 15985863205_c858c5a134_b
  2.  Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush in the color- Sparkling Bellini ($30 at Ulta). I love this blush for the spring because it brings out more peachy tones with the perfect hint of sparkle, making this the perfect blush to go with brighter colors! unnamed-37
  3. Urban Decay Full Spectrum Eye Palette  , which is a bit tricky to find at the moment but you can get it on sale now at Nordstrom Rack for $33.97 instead of $55. I use this palette much more in the Spring and Summer because of all the bright colors. I enjoy playing around with the colors to make some fun looks.  Below are two looks I completed with this palette and the blush. Also, sorry the palette on the outside looks a little beat up…I should probably stop throwing my palettes around. unnamed-33unnamed-38
  4. unnamed-35unnamed-36unnamed-34unnamed-26unnamed-30There are so many other things I love for the Spring but I will save those for a different post since this one is a bit on the longer side. What are some of your Spring essentials?! Comment below.

Hey everyone! This is one of my all time favorite outfits because it’s a casual outfit that is both stylish and comfortable! I originally got this Ribbed Knit Slit Tunic top at BCBG but unfortunately they do not sell it anymore…HOWEVER, you can get it super cheap right now from Ebay or Jet.com. The top runs a little big so I would go a size down if you are in between sizes. I am wearing a size small but it’s a little big on me. Of course, I am wearing my DL 1961 Florence Instasculpt crop jeans in black, which are on sale right now in a blue wash at Macy’s for $79.99 but hurry because they are almost sold out! My booties are Vince Camuto and are an oldie but a goodie! The fringe adds a nice touch to them. The bag is from Florence, Italy. The choker is from my friend, Chelsea’s Etsy shop. She makes all her jewelry herself and they are adorable! Highly recommend you check out her jewelry at Shellsea.co

Finesse Vox Box Unboxing

This is my first Vox Box from Influenster that I received complimentary for testing purposes! My camera is actually broken so the camera quality is horrible. I am planning on buying a new camera that takes high quality videos and pictures so if you have any suggestions on what to buy I would love to hear them! Hopefully by the next time I do a review, my video quality will be 1000x better 🙂

Also thought I would share with you a better picture of my new hair color and the adorable sweater that I am wearing!

I love this off the shoulder sweater! It is super simple but the design on the back adds a little something extra. I got this sweater as a gift and it was from TJMaxx!

Booties: Stuart Weitzman (For a cheaper alternative, check out Forever21 $35, Vince Camuto Destilly 2 Bootie $149.95, Naturalizer Westing Bootie originally $149.95-168.95 and are on sale for $118.26-119.16, New Steve Madden Brave Bootie $109.95

How to wear the same outfit in different ways

If you’re a broke college student like me with expensive taste then you know the struggle that comes with shopping. My tip to you is to STOP buying new clothes and to START buying more accessories! I am wearing the same black long sleeve sweater and jeans in every picture but the accessories are key to creating a new and fresh look!

All of these outfits posted below are great for dinner with the girls, a night out in the town, a date night, or even class if you want to spice it up a bit! Although, I would recommend wearing boots or something without a heel to class. Shoes and jewelry can either dress up or dress down your outfits so play around with what you have and see what new looks you can create with the same outfit!

You can get a cute black long sleeve sweater anywhere but mine is from free people. The jeans I am wearing are DL 1961 Florence Instasculpt crop jeans (tip to my fellow short friends out there: buy cropped jeans to save money on hemming jeans because they fit you to your ankle…you’re welcome). They are a tad bit pricey but are my favorite because they are so stretchy and comfortable. Of course, you can wear any pair of jeans! You can click on the images to see them larger!

Cheetah scarf: From South Moon Under $44 (For a cheaper alternative, check out Forever21 Leopard Print Wrap Scarf for $17.90 and other stores such as Kohls and TJMaxx).

Boots: Tori Burch Tall leather black boots (For a cheaper alternative, check out places such as DSW and Famous Footwear).

Jewelry: Tori burch bracelet and gold hoop earrings (I know you can’t see them), and rose gold/black Alex and Ani bracelets.

Coat: Calvin Klein (For a cheaper alternative, check out places such as Kohls, TJMaxx…or do what I do and keep an eye out for the sales at Bloomingdales!)

Fur vest: Aqua (For a cheaper alternative, check out Forever21 and Fashionnova)

Jewelry: Necklace is from Francesca’s…super cheap!

Bag: Leather/suede bag is from Florence, Italy but you can find similar trendy bags at places such as Bloomingdales, Macy’s, and Nordstrom!

Booties: Stolen from my moms closet so I am not entirely sure LOL… BUT you can find a cute pair of black booties literally anywhere from super cheap to really expensive so do what your little heart desires! (I honestly love ALDOS…I find that they always have cute black booties!)

Scarf: Nordstrom juniors department $10

Jewelry: Tori burch silver hoop earrings (I know you can’t see them).

Booties: Stuart Weitzman red velvet booties…I got these for Christmas so trust me I know they are pricey! (For a cheaper alternative, check out Forever21 $35, Charlotte Russe $11.99, Express, and Joie saleema velvet block heel booties at bloomies- on sale right now for $174 and are originally $348…talk about a steal!!)
